Join us for an exciting evening of rugby development and exposure at the Saint Mary’s College Women’s Rugby Sunset ID Clinic! This unique opportunity is designed for high school girls who are passionate about rugby and looking to enhance their skills, learn new techniques, and gain valuable insight into collegiate-level play.Our clinic will focus on individual skill development, including passing, tackling, game awareness, and decision-making, all while emphasizing teamwork and communication on the field. Participants will also have the chance to experience position-specific drills and small-sided games, fostering both technical proficiency and rugby IQ.
This ID clinic serves as a fantastic platform for aspiring players to showcase their abilities in front of collegiate coaches while gaining exposure to the Saint Mary’s College Women’s Rugby program. Whether you're aiming to play rugby at the next level or simply want to take your game up a notch, this clinic is a perfect fit.
The clinic will be led by Lauryn Nazareno, an accomplished athlete and coach whose dedication and passion for the game are truly inspiring. In her first year as head coach, Lauryn led the Saint Mary’s College Women’s Rugby team to an undefeated 10’s season, guiding them to a conference championship. Not only is she a celebrated coach, but Lauryn is also an accomplished player, having recently won gold with Team Philippines Women’s Rugby 7’s in Nepal for the trophy series.
Lauryn is also actively involved with the Magandaquins Rugby Club, a nonprofit that creates a pathway for Filipina heritage players to compete for Team Philippines.
